Cyber Bullying

Sending tweets may seem harmless enough but it can quite easily turn into a form of online bullying.

In the US, a reporter who suffers epilepsy was sent a tweet that contained a strobe effect, designed to provoke a seizure.

The offender was charged with criminal cyber-stalking, the arrest serving as a warning to anyone about to hit the “send” button.

DBH Managing Partner, Patrick Boylen explains if laws are changing so that people can be held accountable for their actions.
